THE GREAT TRIBULATION

The Lord will destroy the nations, just as it has been foretold, and nothing shall escape His fury --He will recompense and victory will be His and His alone. ["recompense" defined: to repay; reward].

There will be a fiery trial to test the hearts of men, but the Lord will protect His own. All that is not of the Lord's will be destroyed. There will be war, famine, and pestilence, Martial Law, FEMA camps, and much lawlessness. The son of perdition will take his seat of authority as head of the Nations. The Impostors will arrive after the Rapture to create "order out of chaos".

The 2 witnesses are the left-behind believers, and Satan will hunt them down and overcome them, and kill them. Mighty miracles will take place in those days.

Revelation 11:3-7 And I will grant to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy a thousand two hundred sixty days, clothed in sackcloth. These are the two olive trees and the two lampstands standing before the Lord of the earth.a And if anyone should desire to harm them, fire goes out of their mouth and devours their enemies. And if anyone should desire to harm them, thus it is necessary for him to be killed. These have the power to shut the sky, so that no rain shall fall in the days of their prophecy; and they have power over the waters, to turn them into blood, and to strike the earth with every plague, as often as they might desire. And when they shall have completed their testimony, the beast coming up out of the abyss will make war with them, and will overcome them, and will kill them.

God's little children of the world will be taken up in the Rapture, and some will be protecting their left-behind parents until they are killed. There is a Sanctuary in place for the souls of the friends of the Bridegroom, the great multitude which no man can count.

Revelation 6:9-11 When He opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the testimony which they held. And they cried with a loud voice, saying, "How long, O Lord, holy and true, until You judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?" Then a white robe was given to each of them; and it was said to them that they should rest a little while longer, until both the number of their fellow servants and their brethren, who would be killed as they were, was completed.

The people have not seeked after the Lord, they have neglected to read His Holy Words and to learn about Him; they will get their just rewards --they will weep and wail with much sorrow. Those who diligently seeked after the Lord will get their rewards for the fruit of their labors, and will greatly rejoice with their King.

The first resurrection is to rise from the grave; the second resurrection is to receive a new body.

2 Corinthians 5:7-9 For we walk by faith, not by sight. We are confident, then, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord. Therefore also we are ambitious, whether being at home or being away, to be well-pleasing to Him.

The Rapture is when the Lord will come as a thief in the night. This is not the same event as when the Lord comes in the clouds with power and great glory. A thief does not boldly announce his arrival, but rather quietly enters into a home to steal that which is of value. After the "catching away", Satan will be allowed to reign on the Earth, while the Battle in Armageddon takes place in the Spirit realm, as God's saints and His angels fight for the souls of men for a duration of a time, times and half a time.

Daniel 12:1-7 At that time Michael, the great prince who protects your people, will arise. There will be a time of distress such as has not happened from the beginning of nations until then. But at that time your people—everyone whose name is found written in the book—will be delivered. Multitudes who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake: some to everlasting life, others to shame and everlasting contempt. Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever. But you, Daniel, roll up and seal the words of the scroll until the time of the end. Many will go here and there to increase knowledge. Then I, Daniel, looked, and there before me stood two others, one on this bank of the river and one on the opposite bank. One of them said to the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, How long will it be before these astonishing things are fulfilled? The man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, lifted his right hand and his left hand toward heaven, and I heard him swear by him who lives forever, saying, “It will be for a time, times and half a time. When the power of the holy people has been finally broken, all these things will be completed.”

The Antichrist will win in the physical realm and then greatly rejoice over his victory, then the second resurrection will occur, when the great multitude are redeemed and receive their new bodies.

Daniel 12:2-3 Multitudes who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake: some to everlasting life, others to shame and everlasting contempt. Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever.

After receiving their new bodies, the great multitude will be caught up in the clouds. This is when the Lord will come with all his Saints with power and great glory, then the Earth will pass away ensuing a final blood bath of the Antichrist and his followers.

Revelation 14:14-19 And I looked, and behold, a white cloud, and upon the cloud is sitting One like the Son of Man, having on His head a golden crown, and in His hand a sharp sickle. And another angel came out of the temple, crying in a loud voice to the One sitting on the cloud, “Put forth Your sickle and reap; because the hour to reap has come, because the harvest of the earth has ripened.” And the One sitting upon the cloud put forth His sickle upon the earth, and the earth was harvested. And another angel came out of the temple in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle. And another angel having authority over the fire came out of the altar, and he called in a loud cry to the one having the sharp sickle, saying, “Put forth your sharp sickle, and gather the clusters from the vine of the earth, because its grapes have fully ripened.” And the angel put forth his sickle to the earth and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast them into the great wine-press of the wrath of God. And the winepress was trodden outside the city, and blood flowed out of the winepress, as high as the bridles of the horses, to the distance of one thousand six hundred stadia.

Revelation 21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea is no more.
