  Lesou Christou, the Logos of Theon

A look at the translation from the Greek of John 1:1-5

In the beginning was the Logos, and the Logos was with Theon, and the Theos was the Logos. He was in the beginning with Theon. All things emerged through him and without him emerged not even one thing that has emerged. In him was life and the life was the light of anthropon. And the light shines in the darkness and the darkness overcame it not.


[Note: The Greek word "Theos" was used because it was the subject of the preposition, and the word "Theon" was used because it was the object of the preposition.]
