SPEAK LIFE

I say this day, beloved, that the power of the tongue can bring forth life or death; for a person's words come forth as deep waters. Did I not say righteous lips are the delight of kings and they love him who speaketh it forth? As well as the worthless One who deviseth mischief: his lips are as a scorching fire. Do you see what I am saying here, My children? That from the mouth the heart speaks? Therefore the evil doers give heed to wicked lips, and the righteous seek truth, which leads to the healing of the bones. He who has an ear, let him hear. Every word spoken forth from the mouth will be accounted for, whether for good, or for bad. So let Me find you, child, blessing those among you with good cheer, even your enemies: for even a fool when he holds his piece is counted as wise. So take heed, beloved, because a man's belly shall be filled with the fruit of his lips. So I asked you to examine your ways and turn back from backbiting and gossiping. For in this you will not swallow the bitter pill of equity; instead, let's follow after righteousness and kindness, and in this you will find life and honor, My doves.

Yeshua HaMashiach

James 3:4 Look also at ships: although they are so large and are driven by fierce winds, they are turned by a very small rudder wherever the pilot desires. 5 Even so the tongue is a little member and boasts great things. See how great a forest a little fire kindles! 6 And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity. The tongue is so set among our members that it defiles the whole body, and sets on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire by hell. 7 For every kind of beast and bird, of reptile and creature of the sea, is tamed and has been tamed by mankind. 8 But no man can tame the tongue. It is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison. 9 With it we bless our God and Father, and with it we curse men, who have been made in the similitude of God. 10 Out of the same mouth proceed blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not to be so.

Matthew 12:34 Brood of vipers! How can you, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. 35 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good things, and an evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth evil things. 36 But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment. 37 For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned."

Matthew 15:18 But those things which proceed out of the mouth come from the heart, and they defile a man. 19 For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies. 20 These are the things which defile a man, but to eat with unwashed hands does not defile a man."

Proverbs 16:28 - A troublemaker stirs up conflict, and a gossip separates close friends.

James 4:11-12 - Do not speak evil against one another, brothers. The one who speaks against a brother or judges his brother, speaks evil against the law and judges the law. But if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law but a judge.

Proverbs 25:23 - The north wind drives away rain: so does an angry countenance, a backbiting tongue.

Matthew 12:37 - For by your words you shall be justified, and by your words you shall be condemned.

James 1:26 - If any man among you seem to be religious but controls not his tongue, he deceives his own heart and his religion is worthless.

2 Corinthians 12:20 - For I fear that perhaps when I come I may find you not as I wish, and that you may find me not as you wish—that perhaps there may be quarreling, jealousy, anger, hostility, slander, gossip, conceit, and disorder.

Proverbs 17:9 - He that covers a transgression seeks love; but he that repeats a matter separates his friends.

James 3:8 - But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison.

Proverbs 18:8 - The words of a gossiper are as wounds, and they go down into the innermost parts of the belly.

Psalms 39:1 - I said, I will take heed to my ways, that I sin not with my tongue: I will keep my mouth with a bridle, while the wicked is before me.

Ecclesiastes 5:2 - Be not rash with your mouth, and let not your heart be hasty to utter anything before God: for God is in heaven, and you upon earth: therefore let your words be few.

Proverbs 18:21 - Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.

James 3:6 - And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defiles the whole body, and sets on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell.
